During the year of the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain and 25 years since Spitfire Kentish Ale was first launched, I was tasked with creating a campaign which could live up to the magnitude of these celebrations.

The answer was to put the consumer at the heart of the occasion – which meant a Spitfire itself! The campaign ran across two million bottles nationwide, taxi livery, pub point of sale, t-shirts and social media, winning an award at the ‘Beer Marketing Awards’ in the process…

I’ll drink to that!
